Mobile Solids Solutions mixing tank and tractor staged at Fort Wayne Water Pollution Control Plant

Digesters cleaned across a full winter, 500 miles out

Fort Wayne Water Pollution Control Plant, Fort Wayne, Indiana — Nearly six months in Indiana, running from September through the winter.

The situation

Multiple digesters at a large midwestern plant, roughly 500 miles from the Somerset yard. At that distance there is no local depot to fall back on — everything that rolls in has to keep running for the duration.

What we did

The site photograph shows the spread on arrival: an MSS mixing tank with integrated access platform and railing, suction lines run out, and one of our own tractors alongside. Full drawdown, on-site dewatering, confined-space cleaning and disposal followed, with our own generators supplying site power rather than tying into plant service.

The outcome

173 days on site, September 2023 through to the following spring — one crew, one schedule, and the same equipment on the pad from the first day to the last.
